In Kharkiv region, authorities apprehended a pimp who had previously been involved in drug trafficking.

A resident of Lozovaya has been informed of suspicion of pimping.

This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the prosecutor's office, in the summer of 2022, a resident of Lozovaya established an illegal business. The 44-year-old man sought out women who were in difficult financial situations and offered them jobs providing sexual services.

The suspect took care of all the organizational aspects: he searched for clients and rented apartments where the meetings took place.

Currently, the full circle of individuals involved in this crime, as well as the victims, is being determined.

This is not the only "business" of the suspect, who has already come under the scrutiny of law enforcement. The investigation has established that the man sold cannabis to others during personal meetings – he had previously been informed of suspicion regarding the illegal acquisition, storage for the purpose of sale, and illegal sale of narcotic substances (part 1 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
