In Kharkiv region, three children saved a man who had fallen through the ice.

In the village of Reshayushchee, part of the Zmiiv community, three underage friends saved the life of a man who had fallen through the ice.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the State Emergency Service, the incident occurred on February 10 at a lake where a man, who decided to go ice skating, fell through the ice. Three boys, the only witnesses to the event, rushed to help.

The young rescuers were 11-year-old Nazar Donets, 14-year-old Andrey Balabanov, and 14-year-old Artem Shemigon. All of them are students of the Chemuzhovsky Lyceum.

"The three friends acted in a coordinated and prompt manner. As a result, the young rescuers were later visited by emergency responders from the Chuhuiv district department, who brought them gifts," the statement said.
