In Kharkiv region, a person died in an apartment fire, according to the State Emergency Service.

In the Kharkiv region, an elderly woman died as a result of a fire in a residential building.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the State Emergency Service, yesterday, January 15, at 10:01 AM, information was received about a fire in a four-story residential building on Shevchenko Street in the Slobozhanske settlement of the Chuhuiv district.

The fire broke out in the kitchen of an apartment on the 4th floor. The area of the fire was 2 square meters.

During the reconnaissance, rescuers found the body of the deceased woman, born in 1937.

Two operational units of the State Emergency Service were working on fire trucks. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
