Today, January 15, a residential building caught fire in the Kharkiv region, resulting in the death of an elderly woman.
This information was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the State Emergency Service, the fire occurred at 10:01 in a four-story building on Shevchenko Street in the Slobozhanske settlement of the Chuhuiv district. Firefighters determined that the blaze started in the kitchen of an apartment on the fourth floor.
The total area of the fire was 2 m², where rescuers found the body of the deceased 87-year-old woman. The cause of the fire is being investigated by specialists.
