In Transcarpathia, a lost resident of Kharkiv was rescued from the mountains.

Last night, February 24, mountain rescuers assisted a 28-year-old man from Kharkiv in Zakarpattia.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Zakarpattia region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the State Emergency Service, the Kharkiv tourist, who got lost near the Yalynskyi waterfall in the village of Dilove, was helped by the emergency service fighters. Thanks to the tourist's strict adherence to their instructions, he was quickly located.

"The tourist was given medical assistance, provided with food and drink, and then transported to Rakhiv, where he stayed at one of the local hostels. However, he declined further assistance," the statement says.
