Law enforcement officials in Kharkiv region have denied the information regarding a police officer's involvement in the murder of a young man in the village of Krasnopavlivka.
This was reported by the communications department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the police, a false message is circulating on social media. The publication claims that on January 31, around 8:00 AM, near a store in the village of Krasnopavlivka in the Lozova district, a community police officer along with three employees of the RTC and SP allegedly attempted to forcibly mobilize a young man and inflicted bodily harm on him. They then reportedly put him in a service vehicle and took him to the hospital, where he died on the way.
"During the investigation, it was established that the community police officer in question was not even in the village that day. Furthermore, the police had not received any reports of a murder in the village, nor any information regarding unidentified bodies or conflicts involving police officers or RTC and SP employees. Therefore, we urge everyone to obtain information from official sources and not to trust unverified reports," the statement concludes.
