At night, Russia launched 65 drones at Ukraine: here's how the air defense responded.

On the night of February 4, the Russian Federation launched 65 strike drones and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of Ukraine. The air defense forces managed to destroy 37 drones.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing The Air Force.

The Air Force clarified that the Russian army launched the drones from three directions: Oryol, Kursk, and Bryansk.

"The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the message stated.

As of 09:00, the downing of 37 strike drones of the Shahed type and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles in Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Cherkasy regions has been confirmed.

Additionally, 28 enemy decoy drones were locally lost (without negative consequences).

Night Attack on Ukrainian Territory

On the night of Tuesday, February 4, the Russian army launched strike drones over the territory of Ukraine. Air raid alerts were declared in Kyiv, as well as in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Poltava regions, and parts of the Cherkasy region.

During the drone attack in Kyiv, explosions were heard.

Russia also attacked the Cherkasy region with drones, where hits on enterprises were recorded.
