The former coach of FC Kharkiv has passed away.

Renowned Ukrainian footballer and former coach of FC Kharkiv, Mikhail Stelmach, passed away at the age of 58.

The former coach of FC "Kharkiv," Mikhail Stelmach, has passed away. He worked with the team from 2005 to 2010.

This was reported by the press service of FC "Dynamo" (Kyiv), as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the football club, Stelmach was a product of Lviv football, starting his career at Irpen's "Dynamo."

He transferred to Kyiv's "Dynamo" in 1988. His career later took him to Drohobych's "Halychyna," Donetsk's "Shakhtar," Lviv's "Karpaty," Mykolaiv's "Evis," Kyiv's "CSKA-Borisfen," CSKA, and Poltava's "Vorskla."

After finishing his playing career, he worked on the coaching staff of Kyiv's CSKA, led FC "Kharkiv," and "Diniz." His last position was at "Skala 1911" in Stryi, where he served as the assistant coach.

"As the head coach of 'Kharkiv,' Stelmach conducted 32 matches in the UPL," wrote football journalist, statistician, and historian Yuriy Nazarkevych on his Facebook page.

The causes of death have not yet been disclosed.
