In Kharkiv, during a nighttime patrol, police discovered a child.

This was reported by the communication department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the police, on January 10 at approximately 00:30, Kharkiv police found a 10-year-old child who was in a helpless state.

The girl had gotten lost, her mobile phone had run out of battery, and she didn’t know whom to turn to for help.

To warm up a bit, the frightened girl entered a street shelter, where she was spotted by the law enforcement officers. In the police car, they were able to charge the girl's phone and contact her family.

"The child was promptly returned to her parents, who believed their daughter was still visiting a friend and had no idea she was in danger," noted the law enforcement officials.
