Kharkiv police found a man who had left a geriatric nursing home and got lost.
This was reported by the communication department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the police, officers of the patrol police battalion in the Kharkiv region, Konstantin Kalugin, Artem Shevchenko, and Daniil Tretyakov, noticed a confused man wandering around the train station in Kharkiv.
During the conversation, the officers determined that the elderly man exhibited clear signs of memory loss and believed he was in Zhytomyr. They calmed him down, took him to a warm place, and discovered that the 84-year-old man was listed as missing. The pensioner resides in a nursing home. Staff at the home reported his disappearance yesterday around 11:00 PM, immediately notifying the police.
The patrol police handed the man over to a chaplain, who took the traveler back to the nursing home.
