In Kharkiv, a drunk driver crashed a VAZ into a parked car.

Yesterday, December 22, in Kharkiv, a driver of a VAZ vehicle collided with a parked car.

This was reported by the Patrol Police of the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the patrol police, the accident occurred around 3:00 PM on Newton Street. During the interaction with the offender, the patrol officers noticed signs of alcohol intoxication.

The inspectors suggested that the man undergo a sobriety test, but he refused. Additionally, upon checking his documents, it was revealed that the driver had been stripped of his driving privileges.

The patrol officers removed the driver from operating the vehicle and drafted administrative protocols against him under Article 124 (Traffic violation leading to an accident), Part 2 of Article 130 (Driving a vehicle while intoxicated repeatedly within a year), and an administrative ruling under Part 4 of Article 126 (Operating a vehicle by a person deprived of driving rights) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
