On Saturday, February 8, at 06:48, a fire broke out in a private house in the city of Izium.
According to "Mysl," this information was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka."
Rescue workers indicated that the fire spread over an area of 6 square meters. Household items and a bed were engulfed in flames.
A 67-year-old man lost his life as a result of the fire.
The firefighters extinguished the blaze by 07:32. Two operational units of the State Emergency Service were deployed with a total of 13 personnel in fire trucks.
Preliminary reports suggest that the cause of the fire was negligence while smoking.
