On the night of February 9, a fire broke out in a high-rise building in the Pokrovsky district of Kryvyi Rih. People were injured.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the State Emergency Service in Dnipropetrovsk region.
"At 02:03, the Emergency Service '101' received a report of a fire on Mykola Svytylskyi Street in the Pokrovsky district of Kryvyi Rih," the statement said.
Rescuers who arrived at the scene discovered that the fire had started in an apartment on the third floor of a nine-story building, where household items were burning over an area of 10 square meters.
"During the firefighting efforts, emergency workers rescued a child and evacuated 13 people to safety. As a result of the fire, two women and one man were injured," the State Emergency Service added.

At 03:26, the firefighters extinguished the blaze. A total of 16 rescuers and 4 units of fire and rescue equipment from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region were involved in the firefighting.
As reported, on February 8, smoke was detected in the St. Michael's Vydubytsky Monastery in Kyiv. Rescuers were working at the scene.
Additionally, on February 6, a fire occurred at a waste management center in the village of Fastovets in Kyiv region. The firefighting lasted for at least four hours.
