An explosion was heard in the Lutsk area.

In the area of Lutsk, an explosion was heard last night, February 9. An air alert was declared in the Volyn region due to the threat of enemy strikes involving drones.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Lutsk social media and news outlets.

Local pages reported at 03:36 that it was "loud" in Lutsk. Prior to this, there were reports online about the movement of enemy aerial targets towards Lutsk, Kovel, and the villages of Kolky and Holoby.

According to the Telegram channel "Lutsk. Trukha," explosions were also heard in the Volyn region around 03:16.

It is noteworthy that just a few minutes before this, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed about detecting the movement of enemy drones north of Lutsk. The military also reported that the enemy UAVs were heading west.

The publication "Suspilne Lutsk" stated at 03:36 that there were "sounds resembling explosions" in Lutsk.

Around 04:16, Lutsk social media reported that explosions were heard again in the vicinity of the city.

Recall that on the evening of February 8, an air alert was declared in several regions of Ukraine due to the threat of enemy attacks using strike drones.

The drone attack continued into the night of February 9.

Reports indicated that air defense was active in the Kyiv region, where Russian UAVs were spotted. It was also reported about combat operations in Odesa, where enemy drones were shot down, and explosions were heard in the city.
