In several regions of Ukraine, emergency power outage schedules were implemented on the morning of Monday, February 3. Ukrainians are urged to consume electricity more responsibly, as the cause is an overload of the energy network.
The specific areas where emergency schedules have been introduced are detailed by RBK-Ukraine.
Emergency outages were reported by "Kirovohradoblenergo." In the region, emergency power outage schedules began to take effect at 08:30.
"Sumyoblenergo" reported that, following the directive from NEC "Ukrenergo," emergency schedules have been activated for the 1st and 2nd queues starting at 08:30 in Sumy region.
"The queue under the GAV is displayed in real-time at the moment of disconnection on the website of JSC "Sumyoblenergo" in the section "Consumers" - "Disconnections" by your address or account number," the message states.
"Poltavaoblenergo" also announced the implementation of emergency power outage schedules.
"The GAV has been applied in the region. Dear consumers! According to the directive from NEC "Ukrenergo," a command was received at 08:25 on February 3 to initiate the 1-2 queues of the GAV," the message reads.
According to DTEK, emergency power outage schedules were also applied this morning in Dnipropetrovsk region.
DTEK clarified that emergency outages are also being implemented in Donetsk region.
"Following the command from "Ukrenergo," emergency disconnections are being applied in Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions," the message states.
It is important to recall that in the autumn, the Russian army inflicted significant strikes on Ukraine's energy system. Specifically, on November 17, over 120 missiles and 90 drones were launched, on November 28, strikes caused damage in 14 regions, and on December 13, Russia attacked with 287 aerial assault means - 94 missiles and 193 drones.
By December 25, Russian occupiers had already carried out 13 mass strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities since the beginning of the year.
However, at that time, "Ukrenergo" denied such statements. According to "Ukrenergo," the forecasted drop in temperature will not lead to significant problems and will not necessitate the implementation of restriction measures.
