В Волгограде произошли взрывы: дроны нанесли удары по местному нефтеперерабатывающему заводу.

On the night of February 3, explosions were heard in Volgograd, Russia. Unidentified drones reportedly attacked a refinery owned by "Lukoil".

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Russian Telegram channels and the channel of the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation, Andrey Kovalenko.

Initially, there was no official information regarding the attack. Later, Russian channels began to report an attack by UAVs on a local plant in Volgograd, without specifying which enterprise was targeted. Only after some time did the Baza channel confirm that the attack was likely aimed at the oil refinery owned by "Lukoil". Following the attack, power outages occurred in several areas of the city.

Andrey Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation, reacted to the events, noting that something is once again flying towards the Volgograd refinery, which is among the top ten leading plants in Russia.

"It is important that it stops producing gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, and supplying the Russian army of criminals," he added.

Recall that a few days ago, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that on the night of January 31, Ukrainian military attacked the "Lukoil" oil refinery in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation.

"This refinery is among the top ten largest oil refineries in Russia by design capacity and is involved in supplying the occupying army of the Russian Federation," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine clarified at that time.
